*Genre: Romantic Comedy / Drama
*Logline: A new relationship turns into an unexpected live-in relationship when a covid lockdown is imposed. The couple has to survive each other through lockdown.
* Format: Feature Film
* Production Company: Independent
* Compensation: kshs 25000/=
* Shoot Location: MUST be living in Nairobi
* Audition Deadline: 30th July 2025
* Callback Dates: 3rd august for the selected.
* Shoot Dates: August 25/26th (for poster & trailer)
5 days in December 2025 TBD (most likely the 1st or 2nd week)

REQUIRED:
*Roles: 2. Male & female.
*Language: Fluent in English & Swahili
*Age: 23 to 28
* Key Skills: Must possess strong comedic timing and a compelling dramatic presence. Ability to portray a range of emotions from playful flirtation to fiery anger and deep hurt. Comfortable with light romantic scenes and argumentative dialogue. Fluency in both English and Swahili is essential, with natural conversational flow between the two.
*MUST be able to keep time.

Personal background: I am new in the industry but I have experience with photography & video. This will be my first film project. This is a solo project that will be distribution through different channels as well as youtube.

He checks the shelf and sees it's empty. He thinks for a second and then opens a lower shelf to get some eggs and milk.
KATANA (CONT'D)
I will have to go downstairs later to buy some stuff. I hope the shops will be open.
NASIEKU
Buy me some pads.
KATANA
Katana walks towards the kitchen door and looks at Nasieku. He is holding a pan with eggs.
That's an odd request. You know I am a man. That is like poking my masculinity.
NASIEKU
She looks surprised and starts laughing.
Do you mean toxic masculinity. Will you not do the same for your daughter?
KATANA
No. The mother will do that.
NASIEKU
You are a male chauvinist….
KATANA
...No. It's just that some things are a little weird for us guys to do. Okay let me ask. Can you go to the shops and buy a CD if I was to send you?
NASIEKU
Yeah. Why not. It's no big deal.
KATANA

So, there is no way you could also buy something like an emergency family plan pill for your girlfriend if the need arises?

INT. KATANA'S LIVING ROOM - DAY
Katana gets closer to the couch while still holding the pan
KATANA

NASIEKU
She stands up to face Katana and with a stern but playful voice

KATANA
He looks at her briefly then takes a step back.
Wow! You are soo good at this threats right. It's like you are placing me exactly where you want me to be.
NASIEKU
It's love babe.
She moves closer and kisses him
NASIEKU (CONT'D)
Thanks babe for the pads in advance. Unaeza ongeza hapo ka chocolate bar in the mix while at it.
